The recently concluded Binibining Pilipinas 2012 is another proof that its still fun to be a Filipino. We can safely say that Filipinos are born Beauty Contest Addicts, think of any kind of beauty contest e.g. Miss Philippines, Miss Miss Body Beautiful, Miss Bikini, Miss Gay, Miss Bilibid, Miss Talipapa, Miss Tilapia, Miss Tapya etc. name it and we have it for any ages, sex, youngs and olds, in every Cities, Municipalities, school, baranggay, barrios and even inside jails.

Without missing a beat, Katrina said that there are more beautiful places to see in the Philippines, the people are beautiful and proof of that, she added gesturing towards the other title-seekers behind her, was the array of beauties onstage. Katrina’s fun answer was met with a more fun applause from the highly-partisan audience composed of different groups rooting for different contestants.
