 Have more FUN in the Philippines this June 2012.

First of all, the Philippines will celebrate its 114th Independence day this month and their will be a nationwide celebration.
Other major Festival that will be celaebrated this month are Lechon festival of Balayan, Batangas and Pintados Festival of Leyte.



BILANG-BILANG ABAYAN FESTIVAL

A showcase of religious heritage of the Surigaonons in honor of St. Virgen de la Paz Y de Buen Viaje.



RIZAL ARTIST FESTIVAL

SAKAY-SAKAY ABAYAN (FLUVIAL PROCESSION)

A procession at sea led by the Patron Saint of Bilang-Bilang, Virgen dela Paz Y Buen Viaje, the patroness of good voyage aboard a beautifully adorned vessel followed by colourful motor launches and bancas passing through the Surigao Strait and back to the City wharf.




LINGGO NG ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE & “SARDINES AND MANGO FESTIVAL”

CARRERA HABAGAT

The toughest four-day adventure race and the biggest in the Philippines. It involves trekking and trail running, kayaking, mountain biking, swimming, rappelling, orienteering, land navigation and special skills section.
