Philippines-China cyber war?

It started Last Friday, April 20, 2012 when the University of the Philippines website was defacedwith a photograph captioned "We come from China! Huangyan Island is Ours!".

On the Following day several Chinese website was hacked including the main pages of the Chinese University Media Union (http://star.chinaumu.org), China Youth Online (http://v.cyol.com) and P. Loft Youth Hostel (http://www.ploft.cn) was defaced and declared “Scarborough Shoal is ours!" the attack was claimed by Anonymous #OccupyPhilippines with the slogan We are Anonymous, We are legion, We don' t forgive, We don't forget,United as one, Divided by zero, Expect us.

On Monday April 23, Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda revealed that at least three websites of MalacaƱang were hacked at around around four o' clock in the afternooon that day. Chinese hackers were suspected of attacking the Official Gazette website (www.gov.ph), the Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office website (www.pcdspo.gov.ph), and the Presidential Museum and Library website (www.malacanang.gov.ph).

This resulted to Pinoy hacktivist groups continues hacking attack into Chinese websites, even claiming the takedown of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs website through a Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack.

This day April 23, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. The Philippines Department of Budget Magement website was defaced allegedly by Chinese hackers with a message “How come a small b**ch border country are overconfident? And challenged to our Chinese super hacker?”

It also added a warning : “Remeber: Don’t Trouble Chinese, Don’t Play with Fire. All Members from Silic Group Hacker Army F*ck your mother and all your F**cking families ".

The government of the Philippines are already called for both side to end the hacking attacks between China and the Philippines as these are “unproductive counter-actions” but as of this moment their is no sign that cyber attacks from both will stop.

Will this result to a big scale cyber wars between hackers from both Nation?
we'll let just wait and see and hope for the best, because situation like that will further add to growing tension between China and Philippines and will not be good for both Nation.
