A benefit Concert "kaya natin to"for typhoon ondoy and pepeng will be held at SM Mall of Asia concert ground on December 5, 2009. Concert are spearheaded by Ogie Alcasid with the help of his girlfriend "asia's songbird" Regine Velasquez, kaya natin is also the title of a song he write to stress the Pilipino's resiliency in the face of tragedy.The song and the concert will be done by Pilipino singers who believed that Pilipino can stand again after a devastating calamity. Singers who started recording in the house of Jay R are Jolina Magdangal, Christian Bautista, Rachel Alejandro, Rico Blanco, Kyla, Karylle at Erik Santos. While others artists that currently not in the country right now are going to record the song on their computers and send it to Ogie like Lea Salonga, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera at Kuh Ledesma and there are more artist has express their interest on helping Ogie on his cause.
Incidentally Dec 5, is also my birthday so I decided not to give a Birthday party instead I'll just watch the concert with my family and friends to support their cause.
