Filipinos, dubbed as one of the world most happiest People's, love to dance, sing, throw jokes or just have some fun amidst crisis and hard struggle in life. Sometimes we do spectacular things, sometimes weird just to make our mark in the world or just wanna show off.

Mentos and Coke Zero geyser

Filipinos just set a new Guinness world record when 2,856 people created soda fountains with Mentos candies in SM Mall of Asia. This spectacular event broke the record previously set by Mexico.

Largest Photo Mosaic

The Guiness Book of World Records has acknowledged the giant photo mosaic of former President Corazon Aquino to be the biggest photo mosaic in the world.
This image was made and conceptualized by Revoli Cortez, a photojournalist and a mosaic artist. It was measuring 250x200ft comprising of 3200 pictures, weighs 4000kgs and spans about 4 basketball courts.
The photo mosaic was unfurled last July 31, 2010 to commemorate the Mother of Democracy's first death anniversary.
This Philippine entry for largest photo mosaic has taken the record which was previously set by China with their giant baby photo mosaic measuring 108.2 feet by 65.6 feet.

Eight world championship belt in 8th Different weight Classes by a Boxer

By defeating Antonio Margarito last November 13, 2010, Manny Pacquiao set a new Record by having eight world championship in as many weight classes, surpassing another record he himself made when he defeated Puerto Rico’s Miguel Cotto last year.

a 1972 pen-and-ink drawing by National Artist Vicente Manansala, became the most expensive drawing by a Filipino artist to ever sell at auction with  $15,598
The price set a new world record, breaking the old record for a Philippine drawing — for a much bigger Manansala charcoal — that sold for $9,234 at Christie’s Hong Kong in April 2004.

The Philippines has broken a world record for most number of participants in a foot race after over 116,000 Filipinos participated in a historic race to save the Pasig River.

The largest dance class recorded in history took place in Cebu City when the Dancesport-Team led a class of 7,770 participants at the Cebu City Sports Center last June 27, 2009.
