Love is really a funny thing,no matter how different you are to each other, no matter the difference in your upbringing, love can be really be a powerful medium in life that bridges gaps,where 2 people become one, where 2 people, from different cultures, even in different lifestyles can still be together and be proud on having each other.

It came to the part of our relationship that i had to meet the family so to speak, mind you i already met the dads side and they we're great,now was the time to meet the mothers side ^_^, so we went there. there i realized a lot of things, experienced different kinds of people, new foods, new experiences. But in this trip, i can honestly say, i was shocked by their culture,they were,uhm happy..they were so many people of different age groups that was just to much for me to comprehend. they we're all very accommodating though, but i really was culture shocked to the point where my shyness took over me, i couldn't speak, i could only watch them, and smile at them. it was the very first time i felt so out-of-place..I'm really not accustomed to being exposed to a lot of people.. but this being the people who my hun loves, so its automatic that i already love them, even those who i have never met yet. i guess when your truly in-love with someone then that's what happens.

over-all i did a very lousy job,it was a new experience for me which really humbled me a lot. like i said, my shyness took over me so i didn't become the normal jolly happy go lucky me. But im glad to meet them, I'm happy that she let me meet them. and i cant wait to meet the rest of them ^_^.

The feelings i have for her is growing stronger and stronger to the point that it really scares me a lot already, but I'm glad to take the journey to happiness with her, i couldn't have asked for a better partner than her. though different in every way,its our love and willingness that bridges the gap between us. we are equal, even though we can put different things to the table, i still honestly believe that what one lacks, the other has. and if both doesn't have then you just need to compromise and make things work. that's love.

"The Dark Knight" is based on the Batman series of DC Comics.

Eraserheads reunite?!

Years after their bitter fallout, Ely Buendia, Marcus Adoro, Buddy Zabala and Raimund Marasigan—collectively known as the Eraserheads—will share one stage again for a one night reunion concert slated on August 30, 2008.
After weeks of speculation, it was finally confirmed that the legendary OPM rock band the Eraserheads will reunite for a one-night concert to be held at the CCP Open Grounds on August 30, 2008.

The band, composed of Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan, were highly responsible for the resurgence of Pinoy rock music in the '90s. Armed with catchy hooks, street-smart lyrics, and uncanny pop sensibilities, the Eraserheads rose to critical and commercial prominence and was dubbed as the country's own version of The Beatles—a tag the quartet simultaneously scoffed and cherished during their phenomenal reign.

Strained relationship among the band members unfortunately led the group to disband following frontman Ely Buendia's departure in 2002. Ely's resignation was relayed through his bandmates only through a text message citing the words, "It's graduation time."



LONG AND WINDING ROAD. Years after the band called it quits, the Eraserheads legacy grew exponentially with various tributes and accolades being accorded to the group through various art and pop culture media. At the same time, fans clamor for the band members to reunite grew steadily particularly after Ely survived a heart attack early last year.

Still, and despite all the noise created by old and new fans, the reality of a reunion was still remote. Even Buendia's near brush with mortality seem to do nothing to soften the singer-songwriter's firm resolve.

Some clues, however, seem to suggest that a reunion may finally happen earlier than expected. Last year, July 26, a special event dubbed as Eraser X was held at Saguijo Café in Makati featuring Raimund Marasigan and Buddy Zabala complemented by fellow musician friends playing an all Eraserheads set list.

A few months earlier, Raimund and Buddy together with former guitarist Marcus Adoro graced the book launching of Tikman ang Langit: An Anthology on the Eraserheads at Powerbooks in Greenbelt, Makati City. Ely opted to skip both events citing prior commitments as the culprit for his absences. Many, of course, believed that the enigmatic frontman was simply making an excuse so as not to offend the fans who were anxiously hoping for a reunion through any means possible.

Interestingly, Marcus, backed up by a band he wittingly named Markus Highway came out with an album under Warner Music Philippines. In an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) months before the launching of his new record, Marcus shared his desire to play or at least tour with his former bandmates new bands. He also said that his relationship with the three ex-members was okay and amicable.

But still, the big difference remains to be Ely Buendia. As evasive as he is when it comes to answering nagging questions about his glorious past as the main creative force of the "most influential" OPM band of all time, many observers took note that Buendia's current band, Pupil, was incorporating Eraserheads songs quite more frequently this year as compared to last year. There was even this rumor saying that Ely conducted a "secret gig" somewhere where he did a straight-out all Eraserheads number. The rumor was neither conformed nor denied by Ely's camp.

FORMING THE PUZZLE. For some time, cyberspace was inundated with news of an Eraserheads reunion. Recently, a site gradually showed sketchy little clues until it finally led to an inverted capital "E" image with the script "83008" written under the image. The figures, as it turned out, means August 30, 2008—the official date of the Eraserheads reunion concert after six years of not playing music together.

According to the reports, the four were swayed to once again play together after a "big company" tendered a huge offer. "Each member is said to be receiving a rather large sum—with estimates ranging from P2.5 million to P10 million apiece—in order to pull together for a 45 minute set," wrote music insider Jim Ayson at PhilMusic.com.
Last Friday, July 11, during the launching of Pedicab's second record at the Cubao Expo, words were flying that the company sponsoring the historic event is a "telecommunications" company. However, it was later revealed that a tobacco company—"quite possibly Marlboro," wrote Jim—was the brain behind the concern.

Diablo fans petition Diablo III renewed artistic direction

Diablo III Fans all over the world make an online petition for blizzard entertainment about the way Diablo III artistic direction is being done.

The main objective of this petition:
(Exert from the actual Petition)

Is to show Blizzard that there's a significant number of players that dont agree with the current art style of the game, with this petition we hope to make Blizzard ear our voices, our opinions and our suggestions and we seriously want some changes in the artistic direction of the game so it could be more coherent and familiar with the Diablo universe.



It is our opinion that the graphic elements that characterize the Diablo universe are not fully present in this sequel, Diablo universe is made of:

- Gothic and obscure scenarios, cryptic, dark and shadowy dungeons

- Graphically realistic world with realistic, dirty and muddy textures

- Realistic armory and weaponry without over-sized and exaggerated proportions like big shoulder guards

- A macabre, dark and realistic art style

- Light radius, as all of you can remember, Diablo dungeons were characterized by the combination of a light radius system with shadows, everything that resides outside of the character vision sight is shadowed.



What we got in Diablo III:

- Cartoon'ish art direction, obviously influenced by the Warcraft universe, Diablo isnt Warcraft.

- Hand made, pastel looking textures with bold lines, defined contours, smooth colors and clean shapes.

- Dungeons with a blue/green environment lighting, technique used in cartoons to depict a dark, creepy and scary feeling but once again, this is Diablo, a mature game, dungeons should have a dark aura with the occasional lights from candles, just like we got in the previews Diablo's.

- Character models defined by cartoon characteristics like over-sized and exaggerated parts, vivid colors and unrealistic elements, almost directly taken away from World of Warcraft and pasted to Diablo.

- Outside scenarios with vivid colors, beautiful forests with colorful vegetation, shinny and beautiful waterfalls where even rainbows take place.

- Cartoon'ish and unrealistic weaponry and armory, over-sized and stylish armors, over-sized weapons, items that look pasted directly from World of Warcraft.

- Blocky, cartoon'ish graphic elements like big, over-sized fire braziers in dungeons, heavily influenced by the World of Warcraft art style, over-sized and cartoon'ish scenario decorations like smiling statues, Warcraft styled architecture and decorations.



What we want:

- A darker, gothic, cryptic and creepier environment.

- A more realistic artistic direction, more independent from the Warcraft universe art direction.

- Darker dungeons without a blue/green environment, Diablo dungeons are dark and shadowy.

- The return of the light radius / shadow system from Diablo 1 and 2, a concept modified picture made by me roughly shows and suggests how the shadow system should work on Diablo 3: http://i31.tinypic.com/2zta5o7.jpg

- Slightly less colorful and less vivid outside scenarios, they are too heavily influenced by the World of Warcraft ones.

- Darker and less colorful landscapes, Tristam never was colorful and beautiful: here's how it looked in Diablo 1 (before the evil was released across the lands):

- And most importantly: An independent and renewed artistic direction, not a recycled art direction taken from the Warcraft world, Diablo never was meant to be as cartoon'ish as Warcraft, they shall have independent and distinct styles, this isnt happening in Diablo 3, at first sight it looks like a remake of World of Warcraft, graphically and artistically speaking.

As i continue on with living..i see the beauty and madness of the place we live in..the ups and downs of everything. But in reality there are more trials than happiness,more sorrow than joys..it is said that everything in life happens for a reason,that nothing is constant but change..but are we really powerless to prevent everything on happening? or are we all just destined to fail..The longer i stay, the harder trials become. Why is it so unfair, that life has to be like this, that in order for you to succeed you must first learn to fail..cant we just be all just be happy, with no strings attached?..

have you ever experienced even for once in your life that you felt so alone, so afraid, so depressed, and so powerless? It happens to the best of us..to the happy,to the good, and mind you, to the in-love as well... I for one feel so alone, so depressed right now that it puts tears on my eyes.. hence the title :trouble in paradise".

for all of you, what do you mean by depression? some say its the "The condition of being depressed." (Duh?) and in a more psychological sense it means a psychiatric disorder characterized by an inability to concentrate, insomnia, loss of appetite, anhedonia, feelings of extreme sadness, guilt, helplessness and hopelessness, and thoughts of death. Also called clinical depression. All of which are applicable with me right now. (Hah!)

This is life. The harder we fight, the harder trails become. Its always in the willingness to succeed of a person to overcome everything. But what does it really take to "Overcome" trials? that's one unanswerable question that only a person being "tried" would know. If you believe if trials make the person better then so be it. Good for you even. And i wish you the best of luck.

I'm an avid subscriber of Moymoy Palaboy who make lip sync videos of popular songs along with his best buddy Roadfill on youtube. they are very hilarious and fun to watch. so i'm not so surprise seeing them on The philippines long running TV sitcom "Bubble Gang" segment "IyoTube(Your Tube)" doing two of their most poopularvideo on youtube, Wannabe and Ordertaker. The lead actors of the show Michael V. and Ogie Alcasid also announce that moymoy and roadfill will be a regular cast of bubble gang.

there comes a time in ones life that you'll have this "ohh shit im so in-love moment.." where you actually find yourself desperately thinking about this girl, that you can honestly say "yes..she is the one i wanna spend my whole life with..." its some kind of feeling that you just cant explain.. i've been blessed to have such a wonderful, beautiful, intelligent, sweet, caring, devoted, loving, loyal, charismatic, modest...(the list can go on..but going back) girl who loves me for who i am, the plain, full of imperfections ME. its hard to find someone who would bring out the best in you, who you find yourself so desperately in-love with, who the more you're together, the more love you would feel. its just hard you know?.. and there she is.. all people have imperfections, but when you love the person, you see past those imperfections and you only see the best in them.. the real them.. their souls even..
I see no flaws with her. and maybe that goes to show what love is for me. for the most part "i love you" is such a word that all people can say but less people can show.. i've been one of those people before, but now i find myself in such a vortex of a feeling that i feel at anytime i can internally com bust.. theres so much feeling i have for HER that sometimes its just too scary, hence me being the jealous type, who finds it so difficult to trust her..i admit its a wrong doing but this is whats happening right now and i just cant help feeling these emotions.. especially for my type, the "PDA, Touchy feely type" who cant help showing how i feel..its wrong i know but when im in-love with someone, im not scared to let the whole world know how i feel and to what extent i can do for my girl..but shes not like that..and i have to respect her the way i figured, i need to accept the fact that theres nothing in this world thats perfect..no perfect relationship, no perfect partner, everything in life is full of imperfections.. you can be happy at one time and then so depressed at the other..sometimes it just sickens me. but even in this world thats filled with imperfections, is sprinkled with THE perfect moments that you'll come to realize that the world has its beauty aswell..i can honestly say that she means the world to me, that i dont want to live without her by my side.. this is me when im in-love..the give-it-all freaky guy type hahaha well peace out till the next entry.
